Manasse Named Auctioneer Of The Year
Matthew A. Manasse, Co-Owner of Mel Manasse & Son,
Auctioneers was named “Auctioneer Of The Year” at the New York State Auctioneers
Association 51st Annual Convention On Sunday, November 12, 2006 at the Genesee
Grande Hotel, Syracuse, NY.
Matt has been an auctioneer for 18
years with Mel Manasse & Son, Auctioneers which has been in business since 1965 in the
Central New York Region. Matt
is also a NYS Licensed Real Estate Broker and holds an Auctioneer license in Pennsylvania.
He is a member of both the New York State Auctioneers Association and National Auctioneers
Association and has just finished his term as the 2006 President of the NYSAA. Matt is also a past President (2002) and past
State Champion Auctioneer of the Association.
Matt Manasse of Mel Manasse &
Son, Auctioneers from Whitney Point, NY sells all types of merchandise with on-site
auctions consisting of real estate, heavy and construction equipment, farm and machinery,
cattle, business liquidations, building & remodeling materials, etc. Matt is also a lifelong Resident In Broome County
and takes great pride in the family auction business.
More than 100 auction professionals
from throughout New York State and Canada gathered on November 11 and 12, 2006. The convention featured seminars on topics
including technology and the auction business, advertising techniques, etc. The purpose of this annual event is to provide
continuing education to auction professionals to give them the tools to better serve both
the buyers and the sellers. Matt Manasse is
one of more than 250 NYSAA members who are committed to professionalism in the auction
business and this award symbolizes his contribution to the NYSAA and the Auction Industry.
