Kathryn A. Manasse, Whitney Point, NY, was
recently inducted as the 2002 recipient of the New York State Auctioneers Association
"Hall of Fame" Award at the 48th Annual Convention held in Syracuse,
NY, November 9-11, 2002. Kathy received the highest award of the association, the Glenn H.
Munson Memorial Hall of Fame Award, in recognition of her years of dedicated service to
the Auction Profession, Family and the Community. Attributes of this award were based on
her honesty, ethical standard, willingness to share with others, respect in her community,
business, family and professional organizations.
Kathys immense efforts in the NYSAA have aided in raising thousands of
dollars for the organization with her avid tole painting abilities, taking part in many
and all tasks, and as a member of the Auxiliary. Kathy is a partner in Mel Manasse and
Son, Auctioneers, as well as a "full time" mother and friend. As a member of the
auction profession for nearly 30 years she takes great pride in the family auction
business, always striving for the best and providing a strong basis for all, and her hard
work could never be matched.
